We are trying to get the wives of physicians involved with our program.  We have a few that are auxiliary members but not many.  In an effort to do this I am inquiring about ideas and/or suggestions that may help me to be successful with this issue.

    Thank you for your responses.

In response, to physicians wives.  We, too, are attempting to recruit physician spouses to our volunteer base.

The one physician wife on our auxiliary board, with the permission of our hospital president, is planning to send out a letter asking them to join us.  As much as we need some younger blood in our organization, I approach this very carefully to assure that our tried-and-true, long standing, hard working present volunteers are not intimidated by the wives of physicians. Every volunteer at our hospital is considered an auxilian and every auxilian is considered a volunteer.
