Do any hospitals provide reimbursements to their sewing volunteers from their volunteer boards/auxillary or from their own department budgets that can share their policy/procedure?

    Thanks

We have volunteers that sew fidget blankets for our patients and we order all the supplies from Amazon with the Auxiliary's credit card so we do not have to reimburse anyone.

A couple of times a year i will do a collection of fabric, yarn, thread, etc. and distribute them.

All other items are donated gifts from the group/community volunteers.

We do reimburse volunteers for fabric and threads.  Every now and then there is a rummage sale that will have fabric.  The volunteers purchase it and bring us a receipt.  We reimburse under the Volunteer cost center.

I  order supplies for our group from our Auxiliary Funds to allow for better financial tracking.  However, if our sewers find things on sale that they use all the time they often buy and I will reimburse them.  They are quite the bargain shoppers!
