Do any of you know of a national patient satisfaction number? Any other words, I survey my volunteers for a satisfaction level, but I need a national benchmark. Do any of you know where I might find this? Thank you!

I do not know a specific answer to this question, but I did a Google search for "volunteer satisfaction benchmarking" and came up with some possible results.  Also, Martin Cowling might have something...his site is http://www.pfts.com.au/index.html

MSA HR Capital has been contracted by AHVRP to perform such a survey in order to get a national benchmark.  They are in the process of collecting data.  Although FAR less expensive than an employee engagement survey, it's still not cheap.  We elected to wait until 2012 to conduct the survey with MSA HR Capital for the first time so it would coincide with our cycle for employee engagement - another step toward mirroring the processes of our HR department.
