Our patient satisfaction numbers are generated from phone calls made to the patients after their visit, which are handled by a third party.

We also have patient satisfaction cards in various departments.

Our health system also uses a third party.  Within the past year we have converted to Gallup, who also does our employee surveys and this spring our physician survey.  Supposedly, the three surveys will correlate and can be mined for more data through those cross comparisons.  We'll see.

Our hospital uses Press Ganey Survey (PG).  PG is a third party, randomly chooses and mails survery to customer, compiles data, reports to us.  PG compares us to others who use their services.

Our hospital uses Press Ganey to gather information.  Plus several departments within our hospital make follow-up phone calls.
