I have just be told that anyone who volunteers at our hospital will have to have insurance; do any of you have this requirement and what is your policy.

Clarification, please:  what kind of insurance?

primary insurance but most of mine have medicare; I really think all have insurance this is even for college students and teens.  We are checking further into this to see if we are allowed to do this.

Our Volunteers are cover under our hospital's umbrella policy.  This policy is for liability insurance. 

We also have a blanket policy and cover all volunteers for the time they are volunteering for us.
