Does anyone provide a service of rocking babies in the nursery? We are considering such a program, so if you have policies or advice I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.  Thanks    aastin@floyd.org

Since you posted this a few months ago, we did start a "cuddler" program.  Volunteers were recruited from a pool of retired nurses and are available on an "on-call" basis only.  They are utilized for babies born to substance dependent mothers who need constant interaction.  Each volunteer can work a 2 hour shift only and must remain seated while holding the baby.
