    What is the name of your volunteer group? For example, are they a Volunteer Board, Auxiliary, Guild, etc?

    Our volunteer group does not have a name - they are just hospital volunteers.  They are also not associated with our Auxiliary.  The Auxiliary is a fundraising arm of the hospital and are called "WMHS Auxiliary".

    We have our Volunteer Services Department.  We also have an Auxiliary, which associated with the Volunteer Services Department call the Baptist Hospital East Auxiliary.  It is not mandatory that volunteer join this but 95% do join.

    We are the Auxiliary to the United Hospital Center.  Our auxiliary are working volunteers, you must be a member of the auxiliary in order to volunteer at our hospital.

    The volunteers at Northport Medical Center can choose to participate in the Auxiliary, it is not mandatory.  Their official name is Northport Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary.

    We are the Union Memorial Auxiliary and everyone, including the board members, volunteers to both raise funds and work throughout the hospital. Dues are optional.

    My group is a Guild.  All adult volunteers are automatically members of the Guild.  We have a guild board made up of 10 elected positions, 5 appointed positions, and various committee members.  This board plans the fundraisers, luncheons and social activities.

    My group is called Mon General Volunteers.  The Auxiliary is the Auxiliary of Mon General.  Two separate groups.  You do not have to belong to the Auxiliary to volunteer and do not have to volunteer to be part of the Auxiliary.  All volunteers report to me (some I report to them...hehe). I am the liaison between the Auxiliary and the hosptial.  This works in our world but may not be for everyone.
