    Dear Colleagues,

I'm interested in hearing from any of you who are members of AHVRP.  What do you see as the greatest benefit of being a member of a national organization?  In what ways does your membership in AHVRP augment your membership in SDVSHO?

Lastly, did any of you participate in the webinar with IHS regarding the new National Volunteer Engagement & Satisfaction Survey? Do you plan to participate?

    Thanks,

    Jan Verbeck

I am a member of the national society because that is who I got my certification from several years ago.   I have been to two of their conferences, which were excellent.  I enjoy the opportunity to participate in or ignore the many topics of disscussion they offer all the time.  It is another avenue to learn, grow and network.

I belong to AHVRP also, but have never attended a conference due to the cost. I do keep my membership to have access to their newsletter and egroup to keep up to date with the rest of our colleagues.
